McKay's big 3!

McKay turned 3!!! These are a few pictures from his birthday party.  He wanted a Thomas cake and so Dad made him one.  It was a coincidence that his piñata was Thomas as well. He got a lot of gifts and it was a riot watching the kids (and Cori) hit the piñata.

No sense in playing catch up.

Whenever I have a second to blog I think “I can’t post that yet because I have to still catch up on things from July.”  Well I have decided there is no sense in playing catch up or else I will never actually blog and my list of things to catch up on will just get longer and longer.
In September we had the Daniels family pictures taken. My cousin did them for us and I think that turned out pretty cute. I have not posted them until now because my mom made me swear I would not post them until she could make copies to take to work.

I LOVE McKay's face!

I love the weekends not only because I do not have to go to work but because I get to play with my boys.  McKay is growing up so fast and he has a mind like a steel trap.  He remembers everything.  We spent last weekend visiting my brother and his family.  We went to their church on Sunday and when I went to take McKay to nursery there was only one teacher and 8 or 9 kids so I decided to stay.  Another little boy had a toy McKay wanted so the teacher said “when he is done he will put it down and go find another toy, then you can have it.”  McKay went and played with some other toys and as soon as that kid put the toy down McKay went and picked the toy up and said. “He put it down I can play with it now.”  He is such a good little boy!!!  Another funny story (my mom will probably kill me when she reads this)  My mom was staying at my brothers house with us and one morning McKay woke up early so he went and crawled in bed with my mom.  He was talking to her and she was just saying “m-uh” or nodding and shaking her head in response to his chatter.  McKay stopped talking and said “talk grandma” she said “I can’t” he asked her why and she told him it was because she had bad breathe.  The next morning he crawled into bed with her and said “you have bad breathe grandma?”  He is so cute.
Tate was so happy I decided to borrow my mom’s camera and snap a few shots.

Last Halloween when we were Trick-or-treating Porter said something about something he had done in school and McKay said “I need school” it was hilarious.  Well he is still not enrolled in any school BUT he did get a small taste this last weekend when he went with Porter and his class on a field trip to the pumpkin patch.

I can tell McKay is growing up because he plays better and better with Porter each time we see them.  This is them getting ready to cruise the vard in Porters little red sports car.
Where does the time go?  My baby will be six months this month!!!!!
Til next time . . .
