Usually on Thursday’s Dave stays home with McKay while I rest up for another night at work, but he had to make up some hours at work so McKay got to spend another day with Grandpa and Grandma Grondel, which of course he LOVED.
Friday night and Saturday McKay spent with his Aunt Kristen in SLC. (She didn’t have her camera so unfortunately she didn’t get any pictures). They went to dinner on Friday and then explored Kristens house. On Saturday they went to the Gateway to the Aquarium. There was a big octopus in the corner of one of the tanks, McKay started freaking out a little when he started moving toward them. They also got to go to the park and play. He had a BLAST!
Thank you to everyone who watches McKay!!!!!
Saturday night Dave, McKay and I went back to the Gatewayhoping to find some belated birthday gifts for some loved ones with little luck but we had fun in the process. McKay saw the water fountains and ran as fast as his little legs would carry him to the water. Luckily I am still a little faster than him and caught him before he threw himself in the icy water. I convinced him he didn’t want to run in the water and he was content watching the water show. He got so excited when the water started spraying. He kept screaming and pointing.
Then we sat by the fire which he enjoyed immensely. He would just sit there forever and not get bored. I think he will love going camping and sitting by the fire.
